AROUND THE WORLD IN 1.460 DAYS

We are a middle-aged couple who decided to realize our dream of sailing around the world. We have not won the Lottery (yet ..), but just decided to take the step. We did this in 2016 and then began a purposeful saving and extensive planning. We left Wasahamnen in Stockholm on May 1 with pomp and circumstance.

Our boat "Windy" (Pacific Wind) is a 44 foot Bavaria Ocean from 2002. We bought her in the summer of 2018 and since then we have equipped her for a long sail.
